Before and After
-
Kitchen: They had just moved in, and this is how I found it. They didn’t see how everything could be organized given the horrible mess. Now everything has a place, and it finally feels like the home they want it to be.
-
Bathroom: Once I unpacked all the boxes, I was able to find space for everything. Now it’s easy to find what they need and get ready in the morning.
-
Artist studio: She has mobility issues and couldn’t even walk into the space. I didn’t get rid of anything and once I was done, she was amazed at how much space she really had.
-
Living room: This client wanted a space that felt like home. I used a shelf unit to store everything and get it off the floor, so it was no longer a tripping hazard. This is now a space she really wants to be in.
-
Desk: I unpacked everything and set up this desk so it can now be used as one. Now they know where all their important items are.
-
Closet: the kids are home schooled, and everything is stored here, but it was difficult to find what they needed. Now all the kids have their own cubie and school days are now much easier and pleasant.
-
Pantry: They couldn't find anything in this pantry and consistently bought duplicates because they didn't know what they had. I painted it, added shelf liners, and lights so it's not just functional it's aesthetically appealing.
-
Food cabinet: This cabinet was stacked with stuff and was very hard to inventory which led to wasted time and food. Now they can see everything and it’s pretty to look at.
-
Living Room: Decorating is an important part of organizing. Spaces need to be aesthetically pleasing as well as organized. I created a design that showcases the art they love while being surrounded by their favorite things.
-
Closet: Closets don’t have to be boring; they should also be inspiring. I utilized the wall space above the shoes to display some beautiful necklaces, now it's fun to get ready in the morning.
-
Den: After organizing the space, I decorated using the owners’ vintage furniture and antique art. Adding pops of color and textures the space is now both modern and eclectic.
-
Hutch: They didn’t have any space to store their vintage dishware, but this was the only space they had available. I purchased this hutch, not only for storage but because it blended well aesthetically with the room.
-
Counter: This was the extra food that they didn’t have a place for in the kitchen. I not only found a space for the food, but I found a way to display their wine and spices on the counters.
